Celebrate the small things

Friday is here again so we look for things to celebrate. Be sure to stop by LexaCain.blogspot.com to see what everyone has to say.
Here’s what we’re celebrating this week:

  • This week has been another frazzling one, but this is bounce back day so all is well.
  • NO  snow is forecast next week.
  • Charlene the Star is finally out in the revised format. We were having fits trying to get everything just right.
  • I saw some fantastic horse races recently and some good movies..
  • Sent surprises to my husband and sons for Valentine’s Day. I love doing that.
What are you celebrating?
Have a great week.

Celebrate the Small things.

Hi everyone,
Another Friday is almost here so it’s time to celebrate whatever we want. Be sure to hop over to LexaCain.blogspot.com to see what everyone is cheering about. Here’s what we’re celebrating this week:

  • We’ve had horrible colds this week, but they’re finally packing up and leaving.
  • Groundhog Day: once we reach this part of the winter, I pretend spring is almost here. If the groundhog says an early spring, he’s my hero. If not, I pretend he doesn’t know anything. 🙂 This year, 2 of the little fellows are having a dispute. One says early spring and the other says 6 more weeks of winter. They may have to go to arbitration. But, I just found out the CT groundhog, Chuckles, predicts an early spring. Way to go, Chuckles!
  • My sister and brother-in-law’s new company is now open. It’s called GoSparen. If any of you need rides to LGA, EWR, or JFK airports, check out http://www.GoSparen.com. Their limos will pick you up at home and take you to the airport or vice-versa. It’s much less expensive because they pool with other riders so you have no hassle and less traffic, too. You’ll save about 40% off regular fares.
What are you celebrating this week?

Celebrate the small things

I hope you had a lovely Christmas/Hannukkah everyone. Can’t wait to hear about your adventures.
Please stop by LexaCain.blogspot.com to see what everyone is celebrating. Have a great week and Happy New Year.
Here’s what we’re celebrating this week:

  • Christmas was fantastic! Our sons treated us royally, as always. They’re amazing.
  • Dinner turned out perfectly too. Brendan made some cookies, which was quite an adventure because he forgot to do something with the flour and it was super stiff at first, but he sorted things out and they were yummy.
  • Everyone loved their gifts. Even our dog, Elliott got one. 🙂
Thanks for visiting.

Hi everyone,
First of all, I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas/Happy Hanukkah. I hope you have a wonderful holiday and a New Year filled with blessings.
Be sure to stop by LexaCain.blogspot.com to see what she and her blogging partners have to say.

Mostly, we’ll celebrate the Christmas this week, but I do have one other thing to cheer about.

  • I’m looking for freelance writing jobs I can do from home and I applied for one, so that’s what we’re cheering about this week. I don’t know what will happen yet, but at least it’s the first step.
  • My friend and fellow author, Rhonda Patton’s house burned down last week. It’s very sad but we’re grateful she and her family were not home at the time. Now they’re working on finding a new place to live. If any of you would like to help, she has a gofundme.com page here:
  • https://www.gofundme.com/carpayment1000She hasn’t been able to update her page because she doesn’t have a new computer yet.
  • I won a gift certificate so I bought myself something special with it. Thank you, Virginia Wright.
Let me know what you’re celebrating this week.

  • Christmas is almost here. It’s a great time of the year to reflect on your blessings.
  • We got some pretty good news we didn’t expect.
