Celebrate the small things

Friday is here again. That means we can cheer about anything we want. Be sure to stop by LexaCain.blogspot.com to see what she and her blogging partners have to celebrate. Here’s what we’re celebrating this week:

  • We lost electricity twice today, but now, it’s back! We missed it, especially with the cold weather we’re not enjoying now.
  • A little party for “Fat Tuesday. We had extra stuff to eat and dessert.
  • My author friend, Janice Spina has a new book coming out soon.
  • My son found time to do some updates on my website. He did a great job.
What are you celebrating this week?
Thanks for stopping by.

Celebrate the small things

It’s Friday again so we can celebrate whatever happened during the week. Hop on over to LexaCain.blogspot.com to check out what everyone is cheering about.
Here’s what we’re celebrating this week:

  • Bounce back day last week was pretty successful. No relapses. We’ve got a plan moving forward and for that we are grateful.
  • I received some very nice reviews recently so shout outs to Gigi Sedlmayer, Theodore. J. Cohen, Virginia Wright, and Yossi Lapid for the wonderful reviews. Also, special thanks to everyone who featured Charlene the Star on their blogs; Julie Flanders, Janice Spina, and Colleen Chesebro. You all did a fantastic job.
  • I recovered from one disappointing experience this week. Last week’s practice bounce back day helped.
  • Warm sunny weather for the last couple of days.
What are you celebrating? Have a great week.

Celebrate the Small things.

Hi everyone,
Another Friday is almost here so it’s time to celebrate whatever we want. Be sure to hop over to LexaCain.blogspot.com to see what everyone is cheering about. Here’s what we’re celebrating this week:

  • We’ve had horrible colds this week, but they’re finally packing up and leaving.
  • Groundhog Day: once we reach this part of the winter, I pretend spring is almost here. If the groundhog says an early spring, he’s my hero. If not, I pretend he doesn’t know anything. 🙂 This year, 2 of the little fellows are having a dispute. One says early spring and the other says 6 more weeks of winter. They may have to go to arbitration. But, I just found out the CT groundhog, Chuckles, predicts an early spring. Way to go, Chuckles!
  • My sister and brother-in-law’s new company is now open. It’s called GoSparen. If any of you need rides to LGA, EWR, or JFK airports, check out http://www.GoSparen.com. Their limos will pick you up at home and take you to the airport or vice-versa. It’s much less expensive because they pool with other riders so you have no hassle and less traffic, too. You’ll save about 40% off regular fares.
What are you celebrating this week?

Celebrate the small things

I hope you had a lovely Christmas/Hannukkah everyone. Can’t wait to hear about your adventures.
Please stop by LexaCain.blogspot.com to see what everyone is celebrating. Have a great week and Happy New Year.
Here’s what we’re celebrating this week:

  • Christmas was fantastic! Our sons treated us royally, as always. They’re amazing.
  • Dinner turned out perfectly too. Brendan made some cookies, which was quite an adventure because he forgot to do something with the flour and it was super stiff at first, but he sorted things out and they were yummy.
  • Everyone loved their gifts. Even our dog, Elliott got one. 🙂
Thanks for visiting.
